Woocommerce Challenge

It can be fun sometimes getting a system to do something it is not designed for, the fun of course comes in the challenge of “breaking” a system so you can get the result you want.

I had to get woocommerce to simply list products without any additional functionality, this is because the project calls for something along the lines of images of the products with a description but no additional functionality.

So while this could easily be done by inserting the product pictures, the ability to manage the products through woocommerce would make it a whole lot better.

So after a few hours I managed to get woocommerce to ignore what it was designed for and simply list the products as if they are images without a shopping cart or any of the extra functionality that it has been designed to offer.

Yay me 🙂
